Image Stacking software
Some use cases for image stacking software:
- Align channels to correct for for chromatic aberration or pixel offset parallax (image sensor color channels have a vertical offset, so pixels on one edge of sensor will have colors shifted relative to the pixels on the opposite side of the sensor).
- Align exposure bracketed shots to create a HDR image.
- Align focus depth bracketed shots to create extended Depth of Field image. Also called 'Focus Stacking.
