Official ARC Group Christmas Gin Recipe
Equipment:
5L pot heating mantle variac partial takeoff stillhead with condenser and thermometer 3L receiver 1L product bottles Bottled water (if gin is to be made in Southern California)
Grind:
7.38 g Juniper berries (semi-dried are ok, but not preferred) 14 g cardamon 0.7 g coriander 0.25 g lemon peel - fresh 1.00 g cinnamon bark
Reflux:
2.2L 95% EtOH 0.8L H2O Ground spice above
After 1.5 hours distill off a 125 ml forerun and discard it. Collect the next 2.0L of 180 proof gin. Cut 1:1 with water and bottle.
